Update from Islington Survivors Network

Islington Survivors Network’ have begun to hear from survivors, who have been contacting us via our website recently.  We are also seeing survivors face-to-face and learning of their experiences.

We are continuing to meet with Islington Council – Director of Children’s Services and the Chair of the Islington Safeguarding Children Board. More on this to follow. Some survivors are applying to access their files and we are assisting that process with the Council’s support.

We have also printed flyers, posters and ‘community business cards’ to promote our website and to encourage more survivors and witnesses to come forward and get in touch with us. Please do let us know if you would be happy to display our flyers within Islington and surrounding areas. We will post them out to you, or arrange for collection at your convenience.

We encourage survivors to make contact with NAPAC for additional support and advice
