Beecholme survivors from Islington

If you were sent to Beecholme children’s home in Surrey by Islington Council, please contact ISN.  ISN have access to services through Islington Council – support for accessing files, counselling, housing, benefits and other matters. ISN have worked with Islington Council officers and politicians over 2 years and we are seeing positive progress.  We have developed a basis for working with them in the interests of survivors. The current politicians and officers are horrified to hear the accounts of ISN survivors and they have listened and heard us. We have received an apology  and an admission of culpability. The historic abuse of Islington children and the council’s response have been very well publicised by the Islington Gazette.

James who is an ISN survivor has written an account of his time at Beecholme HERE
